Short description:

The Open Government Data and Information Programme Secretariat, GOVIS and OpenNZ bring you a showcase of new developments since the roaring success of last year’s Open Government Half Data Day “you’re only as good as your last re-use”. This event will bring together the open data developer community, agency data champions, and people interested in how open government data can be released for re-use.

The day has been designed for public servants who are grappling with (or have overcome) issues around opening up non-personal data for re-use, and will give you the opportunity to meet up with people outside government who are already using or interested in re-using government data. It's about the 'how' rather than just the 'why'.

The general plan for the format is the same as last year, a combination of lightening talks and unconference. The event this year will have a 'reuse' focus rather than a 'release' focus.

Please come back to me if you need further information or assistance.

Regards

Alison Stringer
