Dear All,

The GBIF Secretariat invites proposals from individuals and research group members to develop best practice guides on two topics:


  *   Data discovery, digitization and publishing strategies
  *   Data publishing action plans, business proposals, and monitoring & performance evaluations.

These two topics are components of the 'Best Practice Guide for Data Discovery and Publishing Strategy and Action Plan'(http://www.gbif.org/orc/?doc_id=2755), which needed further elaboration.

The documents will be used by biodiversity networks, data publishers, biodiversity organizations, research groups, information managers, and biodiversity information facilities.

Expected remuneration for each of the best practice guides may not exceed EUR 5000.
